Wu Tang Clan - “Triumph” (1997)
Director Brett Ratner dreams up an epic, fx laden clip for The Wu’s Triumph, and the result is an all time hip hop classic. A swarm of killer bees threatens Manhattan, and ODB is about to jump off a skyscraper, but the other members of Wu come to the rescue. Inspectah Deck raps while running down the side of the building to catch ODB, GZA watches over earth from the skies as an all powerful god, RZA solemnly paces the halls with flaming wings and just about everybody else is involved in ridiculously over the top stunts like these. Cheesy? Maybe, but definitely memorable.
